Robert Crimo Bobby, a shooting suspect in the mass shooting at the Fourth of July parade in Highland Park that killed six people and sent more than two dozen people to the hospital, has been taken into custody by the police.
The suspect in a fatal July Fourth attack that left six people dead in the Chicago region appears to be an aspiring rapper who posted violent recordings showing terrible acts of violence.
After a hectic day of searching on Monday, Robert “Bobby” E. Crimo III, 22, was apprehended just before 7 p.m. local time after a brief pursuit about six miles from the shooting.
The silver Honda Fit that authorities claim Crimo was driving was shown in television news footage stopped at an intersection with its doors open. He was identified by authorities as a white male with dark hair who was thought to be armed and dangerous.

A neighbor who requested to remain anonymous told The Daily Beast, said that his father ran for mayor of Highland Park in 2019 but lost by a two-to-one margin to the incumbent.

The nationality of the parents of the shooting suspect of the Highland Park Fourth of July parade, Robert Crimo Bobby, is American. Also, his parents belong to the White Americans ethnicity.
Crimo, who used the online handle Awake the Rapper, was apprehended roughly seven hours after a sniper attack that left six people dead and many more injured.

A series of black-and-white photos of Crimo on Instagram shows him with a tattoo of the number on one side of his temple and the word “Awake” above one of his eyebrows. He also appears to have five-pointed hatch marks under each eye.

After shooting six individuals and inflicting severe injuries, Robert Crimo Bobby, is expected to be charged with multiple federal hate crimes, each of which carries the possibility of the death penalty.
