What Happened To Ryker That She Left TikTok?

Ryker’s mother recently came up to TikTok to explain why her daughter left the platform. She revealed that someone mailed Ryker, a resident of Canada, a package of fentanyl from the US, not even to her PO box but to her home address.

Ryker’s ten-year-old daughter, unfortunately, received the mail. A 10-year-old child, excited about a package being received, when opened it, and a cloud of white powder went everywhere, according to Ryker’s mother. “Anyone that knows what fentanyl knows that even a meniscus amount can kill you,” she said in her TikTok video.

Ryker then left TikTok immediately because she believed that her daughter’s life was in danger because of all the haters she had through TikTok. While a few people are expressing their rage on the matter and sending support to Ryker, a few think the situation is being exaggerated. The latter reaction is prominent on Reddit.

Reddit Reacts To “Someone Tried Fentanyl On Ryker”

One of the recovering drug addicts reacted to the reposted version of the video released by Ryker’s mother on Reddit. They said that Ryker’s mother overexplained the situation.

“I’m so sick of all these uneducated people spreading lies! You can’t NOT, and I repeat NOT, OD (overdose of a drug) by touching fent. Because of this lie, so many ppl are scared to help someone when they OD on it”, the Reddit user expressed.

Other users also explained how just touching a fentanyl powder is not fatal and that it needs to be ingested.
“People are dumb af. This fentanyl fear-mongering is crazy. Yes, it’s super dangerous for people that don’t have the built-up tolerance for taking it”, another Reddit user said.
“It can kill you taking a normal dose if you don’t have the tolerance, but you have to ingest it. Not just touch it,” the same Reddit user added as they explained.

“Am I the only one that feels the exaggerated “white powered went everywhere” makes it less believable?” another Reddit user commented. “If someone were trying to harm her, all it takes is a small amount, and it would have been well hidden?” they added.

“Confirmatory testing would have to be done to confirm fentanyl, and it would def make the news, especially being sent over the border,” another user on Reddit put forth their opinion.

These are but a few of the many comparable responses. Reddit is flooded with discussion threads on how Ryker’s mother’s claims are exaggerated and far-fetched.
