Sherree Burruss And Husband David Cruse Relationship Timeline

Sherree Burrus husband David Cruse is a photographer who worked for NBC Sports in 2017. David now works at the Altice Group.

As a sideline reporter, she primarily covers news about National Football League and college football. In 2022, Sherree was named lead college football reporter for CBS Sports Network 2022.

Burruss also contributed to NBC4 in 2016 from WGCL-TV in Atlanta, where she covered the Hawks’ 2016 postseason run and the Braves’ final season at Turner Field.  

David Cruse also worked in the news industry, but behind the camera.

Before getting engaged, Burruss and Cruse dated for many years. They fell fall each other while working under the same roof.

They met while working at KMIZ-TV in the year 2015. Back then, Burruss was filling the Morning Reporter and Fill-In Anchor position.

Sherree covered the University of Missouri Tigers for KMIZ-TV in Columbia, Missouri. She covered the Tigers’ participation in the 2014 Cotton Bowl and 2015 Citrus Bowl SEC championship football games.

On the other hand, David served as a Chief news and sports photographer. Their casual friendship eventually turned to love, but when Sherree moved to Atlanta, they worked out in a long-distance relationship. 

On June 27, 2016, Cruse finally proposed to her with a diamond ring, a memory they have exchanged on social media numerous times. Before their marriage, the couple went to Chicago to spend quality vacation time.

In June 2018, the couple turned their love story into a fairytale wedding. During their wedding night, Washington Capitals were victorious.

Sherree also tweeted on June 3, 2019, that she was celebrating their one-year wedding ceremony and sent him an airplane ticket to STL.

The lovebird’s first child, a son named Thomas, arrived in their world after marriage. She has shared pictures of her son’s holding the United States flag. Besides that, Burruss also posts a lot with her one-year-old daughter but has yet to reveal her name.

Burruss calls herself the mom of multitasking. Even though she is one of the busiest sports reporters, she still finds time for her family.

On her social media, Burruss has a total of 7,816 followers. The CBS reporter likes to update everything about her life on the press. She regularly wishes David on his birthday, which is celebrated on August 18. Furthermore, she has plenty of photographs of her professional network and friends.

At present, Burruss and her family of four have been residing in St Louis. 

David Cruse Worked As A News Photographer

David Cruse is an experienced News Photographer who worked at KTVI Fox and NBC Sports Washington.

On June 15, 2015, before marrying Sherree, he joined KTVI Fox 2 as a photographer and ENG truck operator. He left the position in the year 2017. Likewise, Cruse worked at NBC Sports Washington in two different places. He served as an editor or associate producer in 2017, and until 2020, he continued as a Freelance Photojournalist.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Cruse freelanced and worked as a Photographer at the Altice Group. He’s also been serving as a Video Production Coordinator and Editor at iDesign. 

In the past, Cruse has also gained professional experience working for companies like KMIZ-TV (NPG of Missouri). From June 2020 to August 2020, he also served as an Adjunct Professor at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
