The man who has always tried to keep his personal life away from the public limelight, Borthwick had talked about his partner in an interview with The Daily Mail in 2009.
The 43-year-old didn’t come from a rugby background and had joined the sport during secondary school. During his playing days, Borthwick was never the most talked about player nor the most eye-catching, but his teammates were always in awe of his work ethic and dedication.
In December 2022, Steve replaced Eddie Jones as the coach of the England Rugby Team as the latter was sacked after seven years in charge. The two had previously combined their talents to lead England to back-to-back Six Nations Win as Steve joined Jones’ team as a forwards coach.

The coach, who at the time played for Saracens, had always been known for his competitive spirit. Though he tried his best to keep his professional and personal life apart sometimes he would be frustrated about his gameplays and discuss it with Beth.
Steve and Beth are parents to two boys, Hunter and Chase, who are big supporters of his father’s profession. The boys even said to their dad that he better choose most of his former team, Leicester Tigers player for his England Team.

In his interview with Rugby Pass in 2022, Steve said after returning from a grueling training session with his Leicester team, he was greeted by his two boys at the front door wearing the Australian jersey given to them by their mother.
The Aussie has certainly adapted well to English culture. Though she has stayed away from the public limelight, we might soon see her in the stands during the major tournaments, and maybe she might prefer to wear a split jersey if England comes against Australia one day.
