In June 2019, he played in his first professional match at the Travelers Championship and U.S. Open. He became the first Norwegian to win on the PGA Tour when he won the Puerto Rico Open in February 2020.

He later won the Mayakoba Golf Classic for his second PGA victory. In June 2021, he won the BMW International Open, becoming the first Norwegian to do it on the European Tour. He competed in the November 2021 World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, and won with a score of 23 under par.
