Vin Scully married Sandra Hunt in 1972, the year Joan Crawford passed away. The couple exchanged vows on November 10, 1973. He had four children, two stepchildren, sixteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren altogether.

According to the coroner’s findings, Joan accidentally overdosed on medication that was intended to assist her recovery from a bad cold and bronchitis. Sadly, their eldest son passed away in a helicopter crash at the age of 33 while at work.
