For a long time, Billy Jensen has been married to Kendall Van Keuren. His wife is a neuroscientist who is a Deputy Director and Professor at TGen and works as a Research Associate at the University of Arizona.

They had been good friends for a long time. In 2020, the novel was made into an HBO docuseries.

Billy Jensen’s Family: A Look At His Family Background
Billy Jensen grew up on Long Island, New York, in the United States. His family ran a house painting company. In 1996, he relocated from Kansas to Long Island to run the family firm after receiving word that his father was having heart surgery.
Jensen quit the home painting business in 1997 to pursue a career as a professional roller hockey player once his father completely recovered. The next year, his father passed away.

Unfortunately, Jensen has not disclosed his family’s name or identity to the general public. Jensen graduated from Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in 1994 and a master’s degree in Religious Studies from the University of Kansas in 1996.
He studied Classics and Classical Languages, Linguistics, Literatures, and Religious Studies at Boston University.
