Mr. Wolfson began his legal career as a law clerk in the D.A.’s office in Las Vegas in 1980. He practiced law for many years was a member of the Las Vegas City Council for eight years.

He was selected as the Clark County District Attorney by the Board of County Commissioners in February 2012. He was voted to that office by a large margin in 2014, and he was re-elected in 2018. In December 2022, his present term will come to an end.

Wolfson was also chairman of the State Bar of Nevada Ethics 2000 Committee, a blue-ribbon panel appointed by the Nevada Supreme Court to evaluate and update all Supreme Court rules governing professional behavior.
