The 60-year-old Ronald Ingram was beaten to death and the autopsy report also revealed it was a clear assault. His identity was revealed during a press conference on 29 April and was sentenced to life in prison for murder in 1986.
Jeremy and three other officers Christopher Rolon, Kirk Walton, and Ronald Connor are charged with second-degree murder and aggravated battery on an elderly or disabled person.

Though Christopher, Kirk, and Ronald are charged heavily with second-degree murder, Jeremy’s sentence is yet to be declared by the judge.
Moreover, the Florida judge ordered them to hold without bond. 10 other officers were administered to leave after the incident
What Did He Do To Ronald Ingram?
Ronald Ingram apparently threw a cup of urine at officers when they were trying to move him and things escalated from there and was killed the morning of 14 Feb.
Unfortunately, the beating was not captured by prison surveillance cameras but the officers involved were captured.

The officers were in charge of transporting Ronald from Dade Correctional Institution to Lake Correctional Institution on Thursday afternoon. He was found dead inside a prison transport van.
He was being kept in the mental health unit of DCI, and before he was removed from his cell. While moving he threw urine on an officer.
He was then handcuffed and taken from his cell. He remained compliant with officer demands but in rage, several officers allegedly began to beat him.
