On May 25, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. appointed lawyer and vlogger Trixie Cruz-Angeles as his press secretary.
Lawyer Rose Beatrix “Trixie” Cruz-Angeles has already accepted the offer to lead the Presidential Communications Operations Office under the current administration.

Angeles is well-versed in PCOO matters. From July 2017 to 2018, she worked as the agency’s “social media strategist” under President Rodrigo Duterte’s administration.
During the 2016 elections, she was one of the social media personalities who helped promote Duterte’s campaign.
However, it appears that not everyone is pleased with the nomination, as Twitter is full of references to her previous suspension and mistakes.
