Coryxkenshin, real name Cory Williams, is a YouTuber, gamer, and online personality. He is known for his comic personality and has over 13.7 million subscribers on his channel.
However, Cory is on now verge of losing his career over things he said many years ago. Some netizens are demanding his cancellation from the online world.
Meanwhile, the YouTuber is already absent from social media for the past few months. His fans are worried about his well-being.
Why is Coryxkenshin Getting Cancelled?
Coryxkenshin has been uploading on the Internet for over a decade now. Between all these years, there are things that the 29-year-old has said which may come as inappropriate.

Recently, online detectives stumbled upon Cory’s dark past. They found videos where the YouTuber used some unsettling words.
Coryxkenshin is getting canceled as he said the “T” slur to a transperson.
But in Cory’s defense, he was reportedly unaware that the person was Trans. Moreover, he has already apologized for using the word years ago.
In the apology, he wrote, “Times were definitely different back then, but I apologize to the trans community got this. This is inexcusable and that is a word I would never say”. Nonetheless, it doesn’t give a right to anyone to use derogatory words.
Other things Coryxkenshin is getting canceled for are making jokes about Asia and laughing at a specially-abled person.
On the other hand, some people have come on Cory’s side claiming that the videos were years old and there is no point in getting him canceled now.
Did Coryxkenshin Retire in 2022 or Not?
Coryxkenshin has not retired from youtube in 2022. But, this doesn’t mean he may not.
In 2020, the YouTuber stated that he will retire after hitting 10 million subscribers on his channel. However, with fans’ support, Cory decided to halt this plan.
But over the years, Coryxkenshin has gone under multiple hiatus – thirteen to be precise. He has explained the reason for most of the hiatus as a “mental break”
Cory’s first hiatus came in 2011 after did not post for two years. Though his absence went barely noticed as he was a small YouTuber at that time, the next 12 breaks have been very noticeable.
In 2019, he took his second longest hiatus after not uploading for 9 months. During this time, he reportedly took a trip to Japan and enjoyed time with his family.
His last hiatus started on April 10, 2022, and fans are worried he might leave youtube soon. In fact, Coryxkenshin has already retired from Twitch.

Coryxkenshin is taking a social media break now.
He went on hiatus in 2020 after citing it as the worst year of his life. He was open about his mental health and disclosed his battle with anxiety and depression. Furthermore, he wanted to get involved in other projects as well.
Cory was last active on Instagram on April 7, 2022. And, fans have flooded the post with comments asking him to return back.
There is no information on his whereabouts. We understand that he wants to prioritize his mental health over his work.
