As per sources, she pleaded guilty to shooting and killing Clark. The shooting incident took place on Hickory Grove Road near Starkville. The victim was at her home when she was shot.
However, the authorities confirmed no relation between the victim and the shooter. Also, the shooting was not directed toward the victim. Nonetheless, a crime was committed, and Sanders will be behind bars for 32 years.

Laquilla Clark died from a single gunshot wound on March 17, 2021.
According to the deputies, the woman had already died when they arrived at the scene. They later arrested a 23-year-old, Alexis Sanders, from Canton, Mississippi.
