Anne Heche’s family has confirmed that the actress won’t be surviving the fatal car crash. We send our condolences to her sons, Atlas Heche Tupper and Homer Laffon. 

American actress Anne Heche crashed her vehicle into a Los Angeles residence last week. Following the crash, she was hospitalized for an anoxic brain injury. After a week of evaluation, the family says that the actress is not expected to survive. 

Moreover, the actress reportedly crashed her car because she was driving at high speed under the influence of “cocaine.” The car somersaulted and collided with a woman’s home who also suffered minor injuries due to the crash. She has sought medical attention and is currently out of danger.

Anne Heche shares two sons with her previous relationship with James Tupper and Coley Laffon. 

The actress’s eldest child, Homer Laffon, was born on March 2, 2002. She shares the 20-year-old with her ex-husband, Coley Laffon. The couple was married from 2001 to 2009. Even after their separation, Homer is often spotted with Anne on several occasions and at ceremonies. 

Likewise, Heche’s younger son was born to her ex-boyfriend and fellow actor, James Tupper. He was born on March 7, 2009, two years after the couple started dating. The actors separated in 2018, after ten beautiful years of togetherness. 

Heche’s both children are pretty close to each other. According to the actress’s interviews, they have an age gap of seven years, and the elder one is “very protective” of the younger one. They have often appeared together on her Instagram wall as well. 

A tragedy is being bestowed upon them, and we hope they have all the strength they need.

Actress Anne Heche Won’t Be Able To Make It, Family Says

The actress’s family has stated that he isn’t expected to survive. 

The Donnie Brasco star has been in a coma for the last week, and her condition hasn’t improved. She is currently on life support, and the doctors have already forwarded the bad news to the family. 

Heche’s family put forward a statement that said, “Unfortunately, due to her accident, Anne Heche suffered a severe anoxic brain injury and remained in a coma, in critical condition. She is not expected to survive.”

“It has long been her choice to donate her organs, and she is being kept on life support to determine if any are viable,” the statement continued.

Anne Heche rose to fame in the late 1980s when she appeared in the soap opera, Another World. The portrayal won her a Daytime Emmy Award and two Soap Digest Awards. 

Following that, the only way for the actress was up. She appeared in several critically acclaimed movies like “Donny Brasco,” “Volcano,” “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” and more. 

Also, the actress came into the spotlight when she dated Ellen DeGeneres in 1997. The couple’s relationship went through a lot of drama, and broke up in 2000. 

Furthermore, Heche also appeared in the 2020 edition of Dancing With The Stars as a contestant.
