James Corum Started His Own Business

James began his own landscaping company in 1996. He usually gets up at five in the morning to gather a team to toss stones, cut grass, remove trees, and perform hundreds of other duties.

Christin Corum began working in a restaurant in Middleburg, Virginia at the age of 14. To raise Blake and his three younger sisters, both parents worked constantly.

Blake and his family decided to enroll Blake in St. Vincent Pallotti High School in Laurel, Maryland, where he would play backfield with Jarrett Patterson.

Blake followed the same routine for two years, Christin would leave the house at 4:30 in the morning to pick Blake up from school around 7.

She would then proceed to drive back. James would leave Marshall at 3 p.m. to pick up Blake at Pallotti at 5 p.m. after bringing his daughters to the bus.

Sports Illustrated predicted that Blake Corum would have a breakout year before the 2021 season. He gained 282 yards on 35 carries in the first two games of the 2021 campaign.
