Brett Baty Girlfriend Anna Sprys Is A Volleball Player And A Lifeguard

Brett Baty girlfriend Anna Sprys is the middle hitter for her volleyball team at Binghampton University.

Anna Sprys, age 21, was raised by her mother Shelly Prys and her father alongside her brother Alex Sprys in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At her high school, North Allegheny, Sprys was a star player on her volleyball team and excelled in academics. 

At North Allegheny, Anna led her side to an undefeated run to WPIAL and PIAA championships. Their invincible run was for 46 matches in a row, which hadn’t been done before at North Allegheny.

The middle hitter was part of the Big 56 Conference first-team all-section and first-team All-WIPAL. Last season, which was her junior season at Binghamton, was the best of three for Anna as she got 157 kills and led her team with 95 total blocks. 

Before she was off to uni, Anna had already worked as a swim instructor at Windwood Park for three years and taught swim lessons to kids aged between two and eight. While continuing her studies at Binghamton, she received her red cross lifeguard certification and became a senior lifeguard at Ingomar Swim Club.

Anna might have taken a break from being a lifeguard as she is looking to graduate with a degree in accounting and a master’s in business administration. She is also looking forward to getting her CPA certification. 

On her Instagram handle, Anna can be seen sharing pictures from her training session and game days. In her latest Instagram post, she was seen heading to Dunkin Donuts with her teammates to get their pre-practice foods and drinks.

The 21-year-old currently has a paid partnership deal with Dunkin Donuts. Who cares about Nike or Adidas when you have Dunkin Donuts sponsoring you? 

Brett Baty and Anna Sprys went public with their relationship in July 2022.

It was Anna who first declared her love for the New York Mets player as she posted a photo of the two on her Instagram handle on July 21, 2022. She and Brett seemed joyful as they posed right outside a porch in Cape May, New Jersey. 

The Texas native Brett wore a simple brown short and a blue t-shirt combining it with a backward-turned cap. Sprys wore a short ‘white dress, displaying her toned-up athletic legs. 

In the second slide of the post, the couple is seen joking about something, and they continue their little banter in the comment section as Brett replies to Anna’s caption: “Can somebody tell this guy I have a crush on him.” Brett wrote, “I think he knows.”

Some of Anna’s friends were pleased with the young couple finally going official with their romance on Instagram, with one of them even jokingly saying to Brett not to steal her friend. 

The couple’s second picture came on August 29, nine days after Brett made a stunning start to his MLB career. On August 18, Brett crushed a home run in his MLB debut, making all his relatives, including his parents stand up from their seats and celebrate at the Mets stadium.

Anna made time from her schedule as she went to cheer at Citifield for her boyfriend as they posed at the sideline. The Pennsylvania native, Anna, recently made a trip down south as Brett shared a picture of the two in Texas. 

This was also the first time the baseball player showed his partner to his 51k followers on Instagram. After a trip to Texas, the couple then enjoyed a date in Nashville, Tennessee. Brett was dressed formally for the date looking dapper in a blue suit.

Anna wore a stylish brown dress and decided to cover herself with a grey and brown patterned coat, pairing it with a transparent block heel. As the offseason continues, Brett has decided to stay back in Austin, Texas, with Anna returning to New York.
