The 19-year-old young quarterback for the Clemson Tigers, Klubnik and Macey, graduated together from high school last year in 2021. She uploaded a memory-filled emotional video on her TikTok after his graduation.
Matthews was a cheerleader at West Lake High while Klubnik played football for the college. He completed 7,426 passes for 86 touchdowns and seven picks throughout his high school career, winning three state titles.
One of the top prospects, Klubnik, came off the bench and helped the Tigers win the ACC championship on Saturday, December 4.
The Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney delighted with his performance, said Cade would be in the starting lineup for the Orange Bowl clash against Tennessee on December 31, 2022.

Cade and Macey began dating in October 2019. They met during their freshman year of high school.
They started as friends, became best friends in the second year, and officially became a couple later. Sparks were bound to fly with him on the football team and her cheering for him in a cheerleading outfit.
The young American football quarterback posted several pictures on October 13, 2020, and penned, “Happy 1-year mace! Thanks for the best year I could ever ask for. Love you tons.”
His high school football team won the state championship in December 2019, while she was a cheerleader in that game.
First Date In January 2020
In January 2020, the couple went on their first date. The athlete posted a picture of the two together about to go on a date night.
In July 2020, the pair visited Seaside in Florida, where they spent quality time enjoying a beach. In October, the couple celebrated their first year as a couple.
Born to Christian parents, Tod and Kim Klubnik, Cade and his partner grew up in Christian homes. As a result, their relationship has been driven mainly by their shared religion.

Klubnik and Matthews went on a foreign vacation trip for the first time in March 2021.

Macey Mattews Was A Cheerleader
Macey Mattews was a cheerleader while attending Westlake High high school.
She proudly wears the red and blue uniform of her high school cheerleading team. She is very close to her cheerleading partner Madeleine with whom she has many pictures.
Since she was a cheerleader for the Westlake High football team, she was fortunate to see her boyfriend Cade play every time. Macey, along with her team, would cheer for their football team.
They have known each other they were both in middle school and has seen him grow. She remarked that it is amusing to think about how she served as a cheerleader for him during his first school game. She enjoyed it, and it stuck in her memories.
According to her Linkedin profile, Macey joined her lover Cade at Clemson University. She graduated from Westlake High School in early 2022 with a diploma in Mathematics.
Then, in August 2022, Macey enrolled at Clemson University, where Cade had already begun his studies in January 2022, seven months earlier. He serves as the Clemson Tigers’ quarterback.
She is in her first year as a freshman pursuing her bachelor of science degree (BS) in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. The former high school cheerleader will graduate in August 2026.
Through every stage of his personal and professional development, Cade has significantly benefited from Macey’s support and encouragement. Although Cade is doing great things on the field, Macey thinks his tremendous character off the field is even more astounding.
Matthews grew up in Austin, Texas, with her lovely sister, Laurene Mattews. An Instagram user commented on one of her sister’s Instagram uploads of her family, “The Matthews look like a nice family.”
She has uploaded lots of pictures of her sister on her Instagram. In one of the posts, she mentioned that Laurene is her twin sister and that they have similar facial build and appearances based on their faces.
She and her father, Matt Matthews, went on a hiking trip to Jackson, Wyoming, in July 2020. Besides, she also has a younger brother.
