Coco Vandeweghe Boyfriend Kyle Filippelli Is One Funny Guy

Coco Vandeweghe is currently dating Kyle Filippelli from San Francisco. Coco’s partner Kyle is a Managing Partner at Tunnel Road Sports.

The couple first saw each other at the time of the US Open’s Gold game in June 2019 at Pebble Beach.

A month later she posted a picture with Kyle and other people. They were at a Piping Rock Country Club around the time of Independence day in the USA. 

In a matter of time, it seemed that the two of them got pretty close to each other. Since Kyle has been a part of the corporate industry for a long time, his girlfriend was invited to the corporate party in December 2019. 

She posted a picture with Kyle in October 2020, which indicated that they have been dating each other. She captioned the photo “Date nights with the best one.” 

On the Halloween of 2020, Coco and Kyle dressed in different costumes and posted a picture together. 

Who Is Kyle Filippelli? 

Kyle Filippelli is the partner of the famous American tennis player Coco Vandeweghe. He is currently working in San Francisco. 

He is not public on his social media platforms but as per his LinkedIn, Filippelli is an alumnus of the University of Oregon. He graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Business Administration. There, he also further specialized in Banking & Finance. 

Filippelli has been a part of the corporate industry for a really long time now. He started his career as a Marketing Manager at UC Berkeley in 2012. He worked there just for four months before moving to Kaiser Permanente for working as an IT Finance Project Manager. 

He left his job at Kaiser in April 2016 and later on moved to New York and started working as a marketing manager at Luckbox. He then worked as a content manager at Sum Talk Radio. 

He was also an Associate at Wetherby Asset Management from February 2018 to July 2020. He spent most of his years working in California. Kyle was a VP of Operations at Searchable for four years. 

Since December 2021, he has been working as a Managing Partner at a California-based company called Tunnel Road Sports.

Coco Vandeweghe was born to parents Tauna Vandeweghe and Robert Mullarkey in New York. Tauna and Robert are divorced.

Vandeweghe’s maternal side of the family was more into the sports industry. Tauna was a Swimmer at the 1976 Olympics.

Her grandfather Ernie Vandeweghe was a basketball player at New York Knicks. Similarly, her uncle KiKi Vandeweghe was a basketball player and a two-time NBA All-Star.

Her grandmother’s brother, Mel Hutchins was also an NBA player from 1951 to 1958. 

Having such an athletic family, Coco was into tennis from a young age. She started playing tennis with her elder brother Beau when she was 11. She did try playing other sports like Basketball and Wrestling but she eventually stuck with playing tennis.

Coco often spends time with her family during her free time. She calls herself a “California Girl” as she spends most of her time around the beaches with her family. 

In 2021, she wished her mom a happy birthday by posting a childhood picture on her Instagram.

She has a brother named Beau and two more siblings including one sister.

However, in November 2020, she posted a picture of her sister and mentioned that she would be playing Water Polo at the University of Southern California.

Her mother, Tauna was a 1976 Olympics swimmer in Montreal. She was known for doing 100 meters backstroke and reaching the semi-finals.
