American NASCAR driver Coy Gibbs was married to his beloved wife, Heather Gibbs. 

The 49-year-old lived with his wife and children in Cornelius, North Carolina. He passed away while asleep the night his son Ty won the 2022 Xfinity Series championship. 

The news that the co-owner of Joe Gibbs Racing, Coy, had passed away reached his wife when she was in the middle of a celebration after their son Ty had won the championship. Her enjoyment was abruptly cut short as a result of the tragedy.

Gibbs passed away within a few hours of his son, Ty Gibbs, who was 20 years old, winning the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship race. The causality for Coy Gibb’s passing has not been disclosed; however, he passed away shortly after his son’s victory.

“I think he’s got skills, and he’s determined. It definitely made me proud. I think it made my wife, we were both proud,” Saturday, after a contentious week, Coy Gibbs addressed the media and addressed his thoughts on his son’s upcoming championship race. 

Aside from that, Coy was guarded when providing personal information and insights about his family, particularly his wife and children.

Although he and his missus Heather were together for over two decades, during which time they had three other children in addition to their son, who is now 20 years old, he never disclosed any information regarding the specifics of his relationship or married life even though they have a son who is now 20 years old.

This moniker makes it quite apparent who she is and what she does for a job, although Coy had not previously provided any detailed information about his wife, Heather.

On her Insta bio, it says, “Realtor, Wife to Coy, Mom to 4 kiddos” Heather was with her son Ty to join the celebration of the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship win, and she even posted the picture on her Instagram. 

Aside from that, she is a real estate agent, and her social media is loaded with many stunning homes and mansions that she shares as a marketing method. She includes a short description of each home, including its location, square footage, price range, and other relevant information.

Coy Gibbs has four children with his wife, Heather. They are three sons, Ty, Case, Jet, and a daughter Elle.

After hearing of the demise of their cherished father, Coy, all four of them are wallowing in their sorrow. He is a devoted family guy who has always prioritized his wife and children’s well-being above everything else.

His oldest kid, Ty, born in 2002, won the coveted Xfinity Series yesterday, November 6, and he and Coy’s wife, Heather, were enjoying his remarkable achievement in full swing. Ty was born in 2002. But as soon as they got the news of Coy’s demise, they immediately stopped all that they were doing.

Early Sunday morning, Gibbs passed away peacefully in his sleep, leaving behind his wife Heather and his four children, Elle, Ty, Jet, and Case. They survived him. He passed away in the comfort of his home in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he had spent his last days with his family.

Gibbs had a brief motor-sports career, which included two years in what was then known as the NASCAR Busch Series and three years in the Trucks series, before assisting his father with the establishment of Joe Gibbs Racing Moto racing in 2007.

Coy Gibbs Son Ty Gibbs Is A Champ Racer

Born on October 4, 2002, Tyler Randal Gibbs, or shortly Ty Gibbs, is the eldest son of Coy Gibbs.

Ty is the grandson of an American auto-racing legend and the founder of Joe Gibbs Racing, Joe Gibbs, and the nephew of the late Joe Gibbs Racing co-owner, J. D. Gibbs, Coy’s brother.

In addition, much like his grandpa and father before him, Ty maintained the family’s racing tradition by turning his passion into a career and becoming a stock car racing driver.

At the age of 13, Gibbs raced Shifter Karts at GoPro Motorplex for the first time during the summer of 2015. In 2019, Gibbs was racing the No. 18 car for Nelson Motorsports when he took first place in the IceBreaker 125 Late Model Stock event at Myrtle Beach Speedway. Gibbs won the ARCA Menards Series in 2021 and took home the trophy.

Coy Gibbs was born to his proud parents, mother Patricia Escobar and father Joe Gibbs.

He was born on December 9, 1972, in Charlotte, North Carolina, where they raised him with his brother J. D. Gibbs. But God can be cruel sometimes. Both of his sons have now become Lord’s favorite. 

On January 11, 2019, his brother J.D. Gibbs passed away following a protracted struggle against a neurological brain disease. He had been battling this illness for a long time since the disease was first diagnosed in 2015.

Three years later, on November 6, 2022, Joe and Patricia’s second son, Coy, also perished while he was sleeping. This tragedy occurred three years after Joe’s and Patricia’s first son.

Both of Coy’s parents’ children have passed away, and their lives have been turned upside down. Despite this, Joe and Patricia have been blessed with eight grandchildren since each of their sons had four children, making the total number of grandchildren eight.

Jackson, Miller, Jason, and Taylor are the four boys with whom J. D. and his wife, Melissa, have been blessed. Elle, Ty, and Case are their boys, while Jet is their daughter. Coy Gibbs and his wife Heather also have a daughter named Elle.

Gibbs’s father, Joe, the 1996 Pro Football Hall of Fame, is a devoted follower of Christianity. Both of his grandkids, Jackson and Ty, are members of his racing team, Joe Gibbs Racing.
