Dana Vulin recently recounted her remarkable recovery from being set on fire ten years ago.

When her assailant broke into her Perth flat in 2012, she was drenched with methylated spirits and set alight.

Ms. Vulin’s body was burned to the third degree on more than 60% of her body.

Vulin, who was only 25 years old at the time, had third-degree burns on more than 60% of her body and had to go through years of operations and rehabilitation.

She has made headlines for exposing her arduous recovery path in a 15-second tape that went viral last month, and she is determined to promote the message that “life is for living.”

Vulin said she wanted to “make this burn (her) b***h” as she shared snatches of her painful hospital trips followed by the wonderful result of years of hard work while posing in a piece of red lingerie.

What Happened To Dana Vulin?

When a lady broke into Dana Vulin’s residence in 2012, she was doused in methylated spirits and set on fire.

She had third-degree burns on more than half of her body and had to go through years of rehabilitation, which included over 200 surgeries and wearing a face compression mask.

Ms. Vulin revealed her healing path on social media ten years after the tragedy and on her 36th birthday.

Ms. Vulin is a cosmetic nurse who recently received a master’s degree in science in nursing.

She’s also a motivational speaker who wrote a book in 2017 called Worth Fighting For about her attack and recovery.

Details About Her Attacker Natalie Dimitrovska Jail Sentence 

Natalie Dimitrovska is currently incarcerated for 17 years.

Dimitrovska had shown up unannounced at Ms. Vulin’s Rivervale flat in pursuit of her husband, whom she suspected of having an affair with Ms. Vulin.

She threatened Ms. Vulin once she was inside, then doused her in methylated spirits while holding a bare flame.

The conduct was described by District Court Judge Bruce Goetze as “one of the worst cases of grievous bodily harm.”

Dimitrovska stated in her appeal that the victim’s injuries were not as bad as reported.

Her appeal was denied when she appeared in the WA Court of Appeal via video link from Bandyup Prison.
