David Allan “Kid” Jensen is a British radio DJ and television personality of Canadian origin. Jensen, who was born in Victoria, British Columbia, began his career as a radio DJ on Radio Luxembourg.
Jensen later worked for the BBC as a host on BBC Radio 1 and as a presenter on the TV music shows Top of the Pops from 1977 until 1984.

Jensen began his career in his native country at the age of sixteen, playing jazz and classical music on CJOV FM in Kelowna on a show called Music For Dining, which was frequently sponsored by a number of local funeral homes.
