QB DJ Uiagalelei Girlfriend Ava Pritchard Is A Clemson Volleyball Alum

This year Ava and her boyfriend, DJ Uiagalelei, have had an eventful year. Ava earned her master’s degree from Clemson, whereas her boyfriend has had ups and downs on the football pitch.
If, at one point during the year, DJ was touted to win the Heisman Trophy, he is currently the second fiddle to the rising player Cade Klubnik. Nonetheless, Uiagalelei is giving his best.
Ava no longer needs to see the classes of Clemson, and she continues to visit the university stadium to cheer on her boyfriend. Like his teammate, Joseph Ngata, DJ is yet to decide to either go pro or continue his career at Clemson.
Ava Pritchard Career As A Volleyball Player
Ava Pritchard, the girlfriend of DJ Uiagalelei, was the team Captain at Clemson Tigers in 2021. Ava, age 22, had a great resume before joining Clemson.
The girlfriend of the Tigers quarterback, like her talented beau, was a celebrated player in her high school days. In 2017, she was featured for the first time in the All-District section and was part of the TAVC Preseason All-Texas Team.
2017 was also the year when she posted an Instagram photo sharing the news that she had committed to Clemson University. And right after joining Clemson, Ava began dominating the volleyball games.
Between 2018-2020, Ava played in 73 games, and in all these three years, she ranked first in the number of blocks made in the team. And 2020 also marked the year that she started dating DJ.
The young couple went public with their romance on their Instagram in 2020, and on DJ’s birthday, Ava penned a sweet message. “Happy Birthday to my best friend. Cheers to more life, love, blessings, happiness, & success! You deserve the world! Forever grateful for you and the person you are inside & out! I’ll always be right by your side; I love you!!” she wrote alongside her and a picture of the quarterback hugging each other.
In her last year at Clemson, Ava was chosen to lead the side, and once again, Ava led in the number of blocks, but this team around, she was also lethal in attack.
And though she might have graduated from Clemson, she continues to visit the university to cheer on her boyfriend. And the 22-year-old has not shied away from sharing tribute pictures for her boyfriend, with the recent one coming on September 22 as the Tigers beat Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
Ava Pritchard Family And Educational Background
Ava Pritchard, the girlfriend of DJ Uiagalelei, received her undergraduate degree in marketing from Clemson. Ava earned her degree on May 7, 2021, and proved she is a jack of all trades.
And a year later, on May 13, Ava earned her master’s degree from Clemson with the 22-year-old sharing pictures of her graduation day with her followers.
It’s quite a statement by Ava, who graduated with two degrees in such a short span while maintaining her status as one of the best volleyball players at Clemson.
During her senior year, Ava flaunted the famous Clemson ring, which can only be purchased by students who have finished 90 or more earned hours on their transcript. And for a while, many even thought she might have been engaged, but that was not the case.
And also at the same time dating one of the most famous guys in the university. The saying, “Some girls have all the luck,” fits perfectly for Ava.
Ava was born and raised in Austin, Texas, by her parents, Mike Mikos and Stacy Pritchard. And the Clemson graduate seems to be the only child of her parents, with no traces of any siblings on her Instagram handle.
On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Ava shared a sweet tribute to her mother, Stacy. “Happy Mother’s Day to the reason why I am who I am! Thankful for everything you do for g & me! I love you more,” penned the 22-year-old for her mother as she posted a photo of the mother-daughter pictured together.
D.J shared an Instagram post for his girl on her 21st birthday. “Happy 21st birthday to my Love. Every day is a celebration with you, and I couldn’t imagine a better person to be with. Love you always,” wrote the quarterback with a photo of Ava sitting alongside him.
The young couple celebrated Ava’s graduation by traveling to Seaside Florida, where they took the beach wearing color-coordinated outfits. And her boyfriend will soon join the list of graduates from Clemson, as DJ will receive his degree in December.
The quarterback who has fallen in the pecking order in recent games will graduate with a degree in Communications in the winter. And though he might look settle with his choices in his academic career, D.J remains undecided about his footballing career with Clemson.
Ava Pritchard Often Attends DJ’s Game
Ava Pritchard can be seen cheering her boyfriend, D.J Uiagalelei, in his games, which she often attends. She recently posted photos of her attending the game against Louisville on her handle.
And Ava was certainly a happy girl that day as her boyfriend had a stunning game. The graduate of Clemson University makes sure to attend the games with her girlfriends, who have given green flags to the quarterback.
One can say that Ava is returning the favor to D.J as the star quarterback would attend his girlfriend’s volleyball matches when she was playing with them.
Ava shared a sweet video of D.J going out of the way and coming to hug his girlfriend before he was ready to board the bus. Ava was in the crowds clapping for her boyfriend.
After every game, it has become a tradition of D.J to visit his girlfriend wherever she is standing in the crowd and engage in a small conversation with her. And not only has the couple each other’s game, but D.J has also taken her as a better half in the social events.
But the power couple of Clemson University might not be again next year at the Memorial University if D.J decides to leave the team at the end of the year as he was not on the senior day list published by Clemson on Tuesday.
