Georgie Heath has suffered from Eating Disorder and she belives cricket saved her life from Anorxia.

Georgie Heath is a well-known sports journalist and fan. She previously worked at the Cricket World Cup for Sky, BBC, CTV, and the International Cricket Council.

She also covers all sports, with a focus on cricket. She is also a community mental health professional who used to have an eating disorder.

She feels Anorexia nervosa is misunderstood and, like other mental illnesses, is a mental illness.

Georgia, at the age of 15, was struggling to adjust to changes in her life, which was exacerbated by her poor self-esteem and perfectionism.

Georgia reacted by restricting her food intake. Georgia’s parents sought expert help during the next six months, concerned about their daughter’s unhealthy behaviors and drastic weight reduction.

She was soon diagnosed with anorexia nervosa.

She is still rehabilitating as well, and she has stated that cricket has aided her recovery.

She is taking part in the Eating Disorders Genetics Initiative (EDGI) .

The program is set to help researchers uncover the exact genes that influence a person’s risk of developing an eating disorder and, ultimately, to improve treatment options for those who need it the most.

Georgie Heath Health Problem & Illness

Despite making a full recovery from her illness, Georgia recognizes that managing her mental health is a continuous struggle.

She has used her firsthand experience with anorexia nervosa into a career as a community mental health worker.

Georgia began seeing a psychologist at the age of 16 to assist manage her sickness after being hospitalized several times.

Georgia first opted to communicate her distress through solitude and bargaining with her parents and doctors to limit any further interference while suffering with her recovery journey.

Georgia completed her senior year of high school across two years while enrolled in an outpatient day program.
