“The Tory candidate Helen Hurford in the Tiverton by election has just locked herself in the dance studio at Crediton Sports Centre,” LBC journalist Theo Usherwood tweeted.
Following the Tory defeat, newly elected LibDem MP Richard Foord used the opportunity to criticize Hurford’s campaign strategy.
