Dylan Nicole Gelula is an American actress best known for her role as Xanthippe on Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and her indie cinema work.

Gelula made her acting debut in the romantic drama film First Girl I Loved, directed by Kerem Sanga, in 2016.

The film received the audience award for Best Of NEXT at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. Various commentators praised Gelula’s portrayal as Anne in the movie.

She quit high school when she was seventeen years old and moved to Los Angeles independently. She presently resides in the ‘Silver Lake’ neighborhood of Los Angeles.

She worked as a waiter at a high-end restaurant in Santa Monica after relocating to Los Angeles at 17 but was swiftly dismissed. She also worked at Wasteland, a secondhand business, as a buyer.

NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service, Are We There Yet?, and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit have included her as a guest star.

In 2020, Dylan and Broti Gupta launched Lecture Hall, a podcast with guests such as Ayo Edebiri and Rachel Sennott.

Dylan attended Lower Merion High School in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, and recalls an isolated existence. She used to miss school regularly, which led to her retaking an academic session and eventually dropping out.
