Cassidy Hutchinson was the first member of her family to enroll in college. She attended Christopher Newport University, a public university in Newport News, Virginia, where she studied political science and American studies.

In 2017, her name appeared on the college’s Academic Deans List. In 2018, Hutchinson was a senior in college and served as a White House intern for former President Donald Trump.
