Who Is Cassidy Hutchinson Related To? Her Education And Family Background- Is She Republican?

Cassidy Hutchinson is a Republican who served as Mark Meadow’s assistant at the White House under former U.S. President Donald Trump.

During the summer of 2018, Hutchinson began working as an intern in the White House Office of Legislative Affairs. She joined Meadows’ team as a special assistant to the president in March 2019 and served in that capacity until the end of the Trump administration.

She previously worked as an intern for Republican Senator Ted Cruz and Republican Whip Steve Scalise of the US House of Representatives.

She then advanced through the ranks to hold the position of Special Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs before becoming the Chief of Staff’s executive assistant.

In her testimony before a House committee looking into the January 6, 2021 uprising, Hutchinson, a former aide to Trump’s chief of staff Mark Meadows, made a number of disturbing revelations about Trump and Meadows that were broadcast nationally.

In her testimony, Hutchinson also disclosed that on December 1, 2020, Donald Trump threw his lunch plate against a wall in a dining room of the White House after learning that Attorney General William Barr had made a public declaration that he had not found any proof of electoral fraud.

Cassidy Hutchinson is not related to Asa Hutchinson. They only share a common last name. Asa Hutchinson, a lawyer, businessman, and politician from the United States, is the 46th and current governor of Arkansas.

According to reports from CNN, Politico, and other media outlets, Hutchinson, a former special assistant to Meadows, would give a live address at the unexpected hearing. Hutchinson would give the committee’s public testimony first among White House staffers.

Hutchinson is already known to those who have been following the investigation into the events preceding the attack on January 6.

In her recorded testimony, which was aired during the hearing on June 23, she named six Republican politicians who appeared to have requested a presidential pardon from Donald Trump before he left office.

Hutchinson finished high school in 2015 at Hopewell Valley Central High School. She served on the Hopewell Township Youth Advisory Committee and the girl’s track team.

She received the Mayor’s Award for Outstanding Civic Contribution from Hopewell Township in recognition of her “outstanding efforts” on the committee. 

Cassidy Hutchinson was the first member of her family to enroll in college. She attended Christopher Newport University, a public university in Newport News, Virginia, where she studied political science and American studies.

In 2017, her name appeared on the college’s Academic Deans List. In 2018, Hutchinson was a senior in college and served as a White House intern for former President Donald Trump.

Cassidy Hutchinson might have an estimated net worth of $1million-$5million as she works as an assistant to former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. 

After spending over 20 hours in a deposition with investigators over Meadows’ alleged plan to rig the 2016 election in Trump’s favor, Hutchinson was reportedly expected to play a big part in the proceedings.

In court, Hutchinson also said that she had heard Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene had requested a pardon from the White House Counsel’s office.
