Is Mike Tindall A Tory? Politics And Feud Between Matt Hancock

Mike Tindall has been called a “Tory” after the feud with British Politician Matt Hancock.

According to one Twitter user, Mike has not voted for anyone other than a Tory.

Tindall, who appears in the I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! criticized Hancock after the politician outlined his reasons for appearing in the show. Internet users have speculated that Tindall might be from an opposing party.

Twitter users have come for Mike, claiming him to be a Tory.

One user said:” I see we’re pretending that Mike Tindall *isn’t* a Tory.”

Another user has tweeted: “As if Mike Tindall of Royal Family Marriage fame has ever voted anything other than Tory.”

British Politician Matt Hancock had previously served in the Cabinet as Minister for the Cabinet Office and Paymaster General from 2015 to 2016. He has been an MP for West Suffolk since 2010. 

Previously, Hancock was elected as a conservative. However,  he currently sits as an independent in the House of Commons. This means he does not support any political party views in recent days. 

Mike Tindall is married into the Royal Family, whether he likes it or not. They avoid politics since they are a constitutional monarchy. In any case, joining the anti-Tory crowd is not an option.

Mike Tindall does not get involved in politics after marrying a royal family member.

The royal family usually does not comment or get involved in politics. Tindall’s Wikipedia does not state anything about his political views. 

The engagement of Tindall to Zara Phillips, a child of Anne, Princess Royal, and her first husband, Captain Mark Phillips, was announced by Buckingham Palace on December 21, 2010.

The Royal family approved their union on May 10, 2011, during a Privy Council meeting, as required by the Royal Marriages Act 1772. There were 400 guests present for the wedding on July 30, 2011, at Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh, including members of the royal family.

Since his vow with a princess, Tindall has kept his Royal promise and is less likely to participate in political activities. However, the rugby union player might have political views he does not want to discuss publicly.

However, after criticizing one-time Tory, MP Hannock, there are speculations that he might have a connection with politics.

@BrAlasdairCFC has said: “In the jungle as it is in life …. Somehow the Tories are in charge when you could have Mike Tindall #Imaceleb2022.” Likewise, @Bonscot21019838 says: “There’s a member of the royal family trying to decry the Tories. Mike Tindall, we see you. #ImACelebrity”

Mike Tindall has criticized Matt Hancock in the latest I’m A Celebrity episode. The rugby star said MP Hannock wants people to see his human side during a divisive stint, as stated in the Daily Mail.

The former rugby union star did not mince words and called the MP’s justification for appearing on the reality show “bulls***.”

Before this conversation, Hancock spoke with Scarlette Douglas, the host of A Place In The Sun, about his motivation for joining the program: “Because politicians in general, and me specifically, are renowned for having a very rigid personality. Which is simply not how we are.”

Scarlette then enquired, “How would you say you were?” Matt replied: “More human than that!” Later, Mike did not hold back on his thoughts about the statement as Sue, 59, said: “He sticks out like a sore thumb. I think he is very nervous.”

Mike savagely said: “When she asked why have you come here, all I heard was b******t, b******t, b******t”, to which Sue joined in with the final swear word.

On November 14, 2022, Tindall was also accused of wearing women’s bikini bottoms while dipping in the camp creek.
