Filipino singer Jake Zyrus transitions pictures as Charice Pempengco has suddenly picked the interest of his admirers.
Jake Zyrus is a well-famed TV personality, notable for his appearance on The DeGeneres Show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, and much more. He has been active in the entertainment world since 2005 for more than a decade.
In 2010, he released an album titled Charice that took the market, getting listed at number 8 on the Billboard 200. With this, his fame rose to the peak, gaining him thousands of followers.
People mainly loved the Filipino singer for the genres like R&B, pop, soul, and dance. He is also one of the judges in a hit TV show like The X Factor (Philippine version).

Philippines star Jake Zyrus came out of the closet in 2013 as a gay woman and as a transgender male in 2017. His transition picture has always been a topic on the internet, over the web.
His birth name is Charice Pempengco, but he is well-known as Jake in public. While in the transformation phase, he had surgical procedures of male chest reconstruction and testosterone treatment.
Zyrus also cut down his hair short and inked more tattoos on him months after coming out. Although he self-identified as a lesbian at the time, he didn’t have any transition plan.
In March 2017, he underwent breast surgery for removal and started taking testosterone shots. He announced his transition in June of the same year to the public and adopted his name Jake since then.
In one of his interviews, he mentioned, “I am always thankful for the life of Charice that I experienced and the music that I shared, but that obviously belongs to her, it’s not for me. I’m letting her go and be free.”
Jake Zyrus Childhood Struggles & Rose To Fame
Jake Zyrus had a rough childhood, filled with struggles and tragedy. He got raised with his younger brother Carl in the Iglesia ni Cristo.
Growing up was a struggle for him as he stated, “It was always there- the struggle, pain of hiding yourself, Towards my transition, before I came out, at the very end, I was like, ‘No. No. No.’ But at the same time, it came to the worst of the worst.”
Jake mentioned that the battle to hide his pain began even before he rose to fame in the entertainment world. Further, the confusion and all the things happening around him started impacting his mental health, pushing him to commit suicide.
He shared, “It’s a very dark place, and I’m saying this not because I’ve experienced it three times…”

Jake Zyrus is currently in a relationship with his soon-to-be wife, Shyre Aquino. He previously talked about his wedding with his sweethearts and mentioned tying a knot abroad.
Zyrus has already engaged with his partner, with whom he has more than heart to heart connection. Shyre was with him when he needed them most and struggled with depression and anxiety.
Although he talked about his wedding, while not giving up much, in 2018, Jake has not updated on the matter in the present day.
