They are being advised by investment expert Michael Klein and law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges.
Kenyon has been advising clubs and potential owners for several years from his base in Jersey.
His firm, Opto Advisers, was involved in the takeovers of Paris Saint-Germain and Wolverhampton Wanderers, which is interesting.
