An English footballer Jordan Pickford has an athlete brother named Richard Logan. He has only one brother as a sibling.

His brother Richard, a forward for the Northern Premier League Division team Shildon AFC, is also a professional football player. So, the Everton goalkeeper isn't the only family member to make a living playing one of the world's most popular sports at the highest level.

Current England's No. 1 has nothing but respect for his brother Richard and father, Lee Pickford. Without making any concessions, they aid and encourage him in whatever challenging conditions he may find himself in. They put Jordan to the test to see how far he could go.

Pickford has been dropping hints about leaving Everton Football Club ahead of the 2022 World Cup, and the club is becoming more open to moving him at the conclusion of the current season. Intriguingly, Chelsea is the frontrunner to sign him to replace Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The 28-year-old goalie will be playing in the FIFA World Cup for the second time after making his debut in the tournament in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The Pickford brother both plays football at the professional level. Richard is the eldest among the two, born on February 18, 1988, making him 34 years of age, six years older than Jordan, who came to this world on March 7, 1994.

They both started playing football early, as their father, Lee Logan, would play with them in their backyard.

His older brother, Richard Pickford, encouraged him to pursue a career as a goalie and helped him get his first contract with a football club. When they were younger, both of them were active participants in football leagues. Unfortunately, Richard could never achieve his goal of reaching the top.

Jordan was only 17 when he signed for Sunderland in 2011. A year later, he was sent to Darlington, his brother Richard's old club, on a developmental loan. Thus began his long football career.

His brother's subpar experience in the professional game has helped to strengthen his younger sibling's drive to achieve his goals by working his way to the top and attracting the attention of England coach Gareth Southgate.

Richard would get him engaged in kickabouts outside their home in Washington, and he would tell his younger sibling to play his heart out and dive about. Similarly, Pickford's father, Lee, would get him involved in the games.

Jordan recalls watching World Cup during their childhood with his brother, "We were going to school early because of the time difference, and watching England on a massive TV, having our breakfast in the sports hall."

Richard Logan Has A Son Named Jude Pickford

Jordan's brother Richard is a father to Jude Pickford. Junior Pickford is also a football player. He won the Player of the month award for Barcelona in February this year. He now plays for Everton FC.

Richard uploaded a picture of him with the trophy on his Instagram. Aside from that, his Instagram is filled to the brim with photographs of his kid Jude. The father-son dynamic is a beautiful thing to see and something to treasure.

And Richard and his son Jude will likely be at the World Cup games too. England will begin their World Cup 2022 voyage against Iran on November 21, 2022.

After that, he joined Shildon AFC for the 2011–12 season and continued his career there. He sustained an injury to his cruciate ligament over the offseason for Shildon, which kept him out of action until the 2013 season. Richard still pledges his loyalty to the NPL club.

Jordan Pickford Parents Raised Two Football Players

Jordan Pickford's parents, Susan and Lee Pickford reared two football players Jordan and his older brother Richard.

His parents raised their two sons in Washington County Durham. England. "I come from a working-class background, my dad's always worked. He left home as a 16-year-old to work as a game-keeper on Lord Lambton's estate."

They welcomed Richard into the world in 1988, six years before the Everton goalie was born. Both of them gave up everything to ensure their boys would have the opportunity to pursue a profession of their choosing.

When Jordan signed for Sunderland in 2011 as a teenage boy, Richard contributed to finalizing his brother's loan deal to his former club Darlington a year later.

Pickford Father And Brother Helped Him In Shape During Covid Lockdown

Jordan Pickford has his father, Lee, and brother Richard who motivated him to be in shape during the Covid lockdown.

For Pickford to make the most of his time spent in lockdown, he had the assistance of his father and brother in his physical preparations. Because once out of shape, it can affect the player's gameplay and mentality for a long time.

It is suitable for Pickford that he was able to rely upon some aid at home since the position that he does on his own as a goalkeeper is so different from that which the rest of his teammates do.

The Everton player clarified that the Covid lockdown and staying off the field was the most prolonged period during which he has been away from football. He said he missed playing every single time.

Pickford has often participated in competitive games for England's national teams as a youngster and subsequently as a senior player. As a result, he is always attempting to find the optimal balance between being fit and staying on top of his game.
