Missing Man Kyle Moorman Found Dead With Three Children In The Indianapolis Pond
The bodies of a father and his three young children who went missing last week after leaving on a fishing trip were discovered in the pond southwest of Indianapolis.
According to an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department press release, the children’s bodies were discovered inside a car that was submerged in water by the 2900 block of Bluff Road just after 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
The identity of the victims, Kyle Moorman, 27, and his three children 5-year-old Kyle Moorman II, 2-year-old Kyannah Holland, and 1-year-old Kyran Holland. have been confirmed by the Marion County Coroner’s Office.
After the bodies were found, the police did not immediately announce the identity of the victims but stated in a news release that there was “a connection” between the bodies found and the four missing people.

Kyle Moorman and his three children’s bodies were discovered on the south side of the Indianapolis pond where Kyle frequently goes for nighttime fishing. On July 6, 2022, Kyle Moorman, 27, and his three children Kyran Holland, 1, Kyannah Holland, 2, and Kyle Moorman II, 5, were last seen.

Kyle Moorman’s body was discovered in a pond near Bluff Road and Troy Avenue at 7:42 p.m. on Tuesday, bringing the week-long hunt for the missing family to a devastating end.
Detectives are attempting to determine the circumstances that led to this tragedy. In response to allegations of a dead body in the water, officers and a dive team were called to the pond on Tuesday night.
Moorman, who was last seen on July 6 at his brother’s home, had informed his family that he intended to take his children fishing at the pond. Mariah Moorman, Moorman’s sister, said that her brother’s phone had last been near the pond at about 12:40 a.m. on July 7, a few hours after he was last seen.
Before the bodies were discovered, family members and friends spent several days searching the pond and the surrounding area along Bluff Road and West Troy Avenue.

Kyle Moorman Wife: Where Is She?
Kyle Moorman is a married man, however, information about his wife is missing. Kyle’s wife might be going through a difficult time as she has lost her loved ones.
While Kyle’s mother and other relatives have been spotted in the media, Kyle’s wife hasn’t made an appearance. William Muse, a member of Kyle Moorman’s mother’s family, expressed his frustration with investigators on Tuesday, saying he and other family members were disappointed they hadn’t searched the pond sooner after the father and his kids went missing.

A $10,000 reward had been offered by the Moormans’ family and friends in exchange for information about their location. They spent days looking about the pond and its surroundings. Additionally, volunteers with a personal boat and a private helicopter searched.
Numerous people gathered on Bluff Road to witness dive teams enter the water, some of whom had already started to mourn. A big tow truck eventually showed up and removed a car from the pond.
The automobile, a black Saab, was found utilizing sonar equipment by members of the Department of Natural Resources and the Indianapolis Fire Department Dive Team.
Where Was Kyle Moorman And His Three Children Last Seen?
Kyle Moorman and his children were last seen on July 6, 2022. Officers investigated the location and nearby areas on foot and with a drone in an effort to find Kyle Moorman and his kids.
Some of Kyle Moorman’s family members arrived at the pond late on Tuesday, while others drove there. People who knew Kyle Moorman are speaking out about how much the man and his children meant to them as the inquiry into how they died progresses.
In response to a question about why dive teams had not looked into the pond earlier on Wednesday, Bailey said additional information on the circumstances surrounding the fatalities will be revealed as the investigation goes on. Detectives will keep gathering information at the area where the remains were found, according to Bailey.
