Latrell Mitchell Brother Shaquai Mitchell has re-signed with the Rabbitohs on a two-year contract, committing to the team through at least the 2024 NRL season.

After playing a combination of NRL and NSW Cup football during the 2022 season and making the Indigenous All Stars, Mitchell, 26, will enter the Rabbitohs' top 30 contracted players the following year.

Junior for the Taree Red Rovers, Mitchell made his NRL debut in round eight against the Sea Eagles and went on to play three games in 2022. In round 17 of the previous campaign, Mitchell and his younger brother Latrell participated in a first-grade game together for the first time, realizing a family dream.

Mitchell, who is 119 kg, will join the club's top 30 rosters in the next two years and offer a ton of size and depth to the Bunnies' forward pack.
