Lee Mckenzie Toxic Married Life Ex Husband Kenner Jones, Is F1 Presenter Single Now?

Despite the public access to her professional life, Lee McKenzie’s life is very private. Since she has not discussed her past relationships, it is thought that she is not married; however, she has been. The name of her ex-husband is Kenner Jones.

In her twenties, McKenzie visited Wales, where she met Kenner, whom she later wed. But unfortunately, her husband turned out to be a psychotic con man. In little than a year, Jones completely wrecked McKenzie’s finances and her trust.

McKenzie participates in the World Rally Championship as an international co-driver. She began following an ITV challenge to train and become a World Rally Championship co-driver in just three months. After earning an international license, she continued through her class victory at Wales Rally GB.

Since then, McKenzie has driven the X-Power MG ZR in the Norwegian Rally Championship. From GP2 to World Rally, drivers are taken care of by McKenzie’s driver management business, which he owns and operates.

McKenzie has not revealed any active romantic connections as of yet, though. Instead, she is single and focused on important upcoming athletic events.

Since she was fifteen years old, McKenzie has worked as a journalist. For her achievements in motorsport, she was given the Jim Clark Memorial Award in 2007. In 2004 and 2005, McKenzie participated in many events and rallies. 

Lee has competed in the World Rally Championship as a co-driver and reported on sporting events. After several years of career training for an F1 race, McKenzie announced that she would consider leaving the sport in 2018. Afterward, she continued to broadcast various sports on BBC and Channel 4.

Lee McKenzie’s father worked as a sports and motorsport journalist, primarily covering rugby and motorsport. Additionally, she has shared her father’s book about 1992 F1 World Champion Nigel Mansell on her social media accounts.

It is fair to say that Mckenzie must have drawn motivation from her father to pursue a career in journalism, without a doubt. He belonged to World Horse Welfare and was an equestrian supporter, born in Scotland and proudly identified as Scottish.

Although her parents’ entire identities have not yet been revealed, it is known that her mother suffers from tinnitus, which has caused hearing loss for one year.

Along with the Olympics and Paralympic Games, McKenzie has also worked on various sports for the BBC, such as tennis, rugby, and equestrian. She has also served as a presenter for Sky Sports, Sky Sports News, and the BBC’s F1 coverage.

At 15, Lee Mckenzie, the Channel 4 sports presenter, began her journalism career as a trainee at Border TV while pursuing her studies. She has worked for various radio and television networks during her career, including BBC, Channel 4, and BBC Radio 5. 

She has covered numerous significant events, including the A1 Grand Prix, British Superbike Championship, Formula One, Rugby, and W Series. McKenzie won a Jim Clark Memorial Award in 2007 for her accomplishments and contributions to motorsports.

McKenzie created the horse racing channel At the Races and has presented on ITV. Additionally, she has hosted Lookaround for Border Television and reported various noteworthy events, including the Lockerbie Trial. In addition to offering the 6 o’clock news, McKenzie has covered horse racing for Sky Sports and produced At the Races.

She served as the primary host of Inside F1 for BBC News. In addition, McKenzie served as the primary host of the BBC’s F1 program during the Japanese Grand Prix weekend in October 2010, while Jake Humphrey hosted the 2012 Commonwealth Games, Euro 2012, and the 2012 Olympic Games. 

McKenzie hosted the Canadian, German, and Hungarian Grand Prix in 2012. For the first race ever on British television, a woman was the primary F1 anchor. She was also on the BBC’s shortlist of prospective hosts for the 2013 Formula One season, replacing departing host Jake Humphrey. Suzi Perry would take over, it was revealed in December 2012.

Following BBC’s decision to stop airing live F1 on TV, it was announced on March 8th, 2016, that McKenzie would join Channel 4’s coverage of the sport. She reports on races in the same capacity as she did for the BBC and hosts practice sessions and F1, Meets (also known as Lee Meets).

She served as the primary presenter for the Grands Prix of Tuscany in 2020 and Azerbaijan in 2021 on Channel 4. After they acquired the rights in June 2016, it was confirmed that she would host the channel’s highlights of the FIA World Endurance Championship.

The 2018 Paralympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea, were co-presented by McKenzie. In addition, she became Channel 4’s primary presenter for the European Rugby Champions Cup, Wales mid-year internationals, and rugby union. Due to the coronavirus epidemic, it was reported that McKenzie would be a member of the small on-site team for Channel 4 at the 2021 Paralympics as a reporter.
