Leona Hale From Kansas City Hospitalized, Twitter Reaction To Police Shooting A Pregnant Woman
In the video, Leona Hale from Kansas City was hospitalized after a police officer shot a pregnant woman as she tried to run away.
According to the Kansas City Police Department, the event occurred in an effort to apprehend a woman and a man in association with a suspected stolen car, but eyewitnesses claim this story does not hold up because the lady had her hands up and was shot five times.
Community members are already outraged by this decision, recalling the agency’s “botched and fraudulent” probe of Malcolm Johnson last year.
Malcolm Johnson was also an unarmed black man who was slain by KCPD on March 25, 2021. Similar to Leonna’s case, all local news agencies and the Missouri State Highway Patrol stated that he was armed and engaged in a gunfight with authorities.

According to a video Shedanja provided to the Star, Leona Hale of Kansas City was immediately hospitalized after police shot a pregnant woman who was unarmed as she attempted to flee.

The injured black woman was suspected of committing a carjacking with a male accomplice. Leonna Hale, 26, has been recognized by KCTV. She is still alive, although she sustained major injuries and was sent to the hospital. She is also in a stable state.
According to Shedanja, the cops repeatedly told Ms. Hale to get down on the floor, but she refused because she was pregnant.

Twitter reacted very quickly after a police officer shot the pregnant woman. People are finding it very difficult to admit that police shot an unarmed pregnant woman.
The 26-year-old allegedly alerted authorities that there was a firearm in the car. Eyewitnesses said cops pulled their firearms as Hale backed away from the car. The terrified pregnant mother attempted to flee but was greeted with gunshots.
Leona was shouting to the officer that she was pregnant before he shot her five times.

Leona Hale Husband Family and Tribute On Reddit
Currently, there is no information about Leona Hale’s family. The authorities are yet to disclose that. On Reddit, people are paying tribute and are very ashamed of the incident.
One user wrote that cops could stop a school shooter but can shoot a pregnant lady five times. The police chief has promised to deliver transparent evidence.
Many people are arguing that shooting five times just because the suspect is wrong and is done only in the US.
