An Indian politician and a prominent member of the youth congress Mahua Moitra has been stealing the spotlight recently.
She ran for and won the seat as an All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) candidate in the 2019 Indian general election. In response to the controversy surrounding her comments about Goddess Kali, she stands by her remark.

Mahua Moitra Religion, Is She Hindu Or Jewish?
Citing her Wikipedia bio page clearly says that Mahua Moitra belongs to the Hindu Brahmin family and thus is a strict follower of the Hindu religion.
Thi debate that ignited after her controversial comment on Goddess Kaali has led people to rethink Moitra’s religious view skeptically. Though she is a hardcore Hindu Brahmin, her words got too many people’s nerves as it was against their religion and beliefs.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, stated that Moitra’s comment has offended Hindu religious emotions and that insulting Hindu deities would not be condoned at any cost.
Interestingly, soon after she made such statements about Kaali, her party, the TMC distanced itself, claiming that she was speaking in her capacity.
Mahua Moitra Family Details, Relationship With Daughter And Husband
Multiple reliable sources state that the 17th Lok Sabha member Mahua Moitra has no daughter. There have been no such reports about Moitra giving birth to a baby.
In October 2021, a teen girl miraculously drown and was found dead on Goa Beach.
Besides, she was married to Scandanavian Lars Brorson in 2002 but divorced soon after. The reason behind the couple’s departure has not been revealed, along with their relationship history. Reports are saying they quickly got separated and had no kids.

Mahua Moitra Parents And Origin
Moitra was born on October 12, 1974, in Labac, Assam, to Bengali Brahmin parents Dwipendra Lal Moitra (father) and Manjoo Moitra (mother).
The 47-year-old Trinamool congresswoman attended school in Kolkata. She received her bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics from Mount Holyoke College South Hadley in Massachusetts, USA, in 1998.
