Who Is Manvinder Singh? Actor Arrested For Threatening Katrina Kaif And Kaushal

Manvinder Singh, who sent death threats to Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, is a Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh resident. He is reportedly a struggling actor looking for opportunities in Mumbai’s film and television industry.

Manvinder is on charges of criminal count for using social media to send death threats against actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal and was taken into custody today. In addition to sending death threats to the couple, he was also accused of stalking and threatening Katrina.

After several investigations, the struggling actor was found to be a big fan of Katrina. He was obsessed with her to the point he wanted to marry her. His social media posts show that he even morphed pictures of himself and Katrina in a wedding setting. We guess his obsession was not just limited to an imaginary marriage but a real one, given he troubled the newly married couple Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal.

Vicky Kaushal had filed a complaint on the death threat at Santacruz Police, which was registered under Cr No. 911/2022 under Sections 506(criminal intimidation) and 354(stalking) of the Indian Penal Code and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act. Kaushal had also claimed that the accused was adamant about stalking Katrina.

Vicky and Katrina got married in December 2021. It was a secretive wedding, and fans worldwide even framed them as a perfect couple. Adoring, supporting, and idolizing comes in handy with the celebrity status of a celebrity but sometimes envy and rage come along. We can say the latter was proved by Manvinder Singh, who was a big fan of Katrina and wanted to marry her anyhow.

The struggling actor Manvinder initially sent threatening messages anonymously using a fake Instagram account, but after the investigation by Mumbai Police, he was identified and arrested. He is currently in the custody of Mumbai Police. After getting arrested, Manvinder told the Police that he was unrequitedly in love with Katrina. His indecent edits and threat messages indicate that he could not bear seeing Katrina with Vicky.

After the arrest, Katrina and Vicky haven’t made any public remarks yet.

Manvinder seems to have two Instagram pages. He posts his edited pictures in both his accounts with Katrina Kaif and other Bollywood actresses.

His first account, which seems to be his personal account, goes by the username @kingadityarajput. He has 1470 followers on the account. The display picture of his account is his morphed picture with Katrina in a beach-like setting. 

Manvinder’s obsession with Katrina comes off clear with the posts he has uploaded on @kingadityarajput. He made sure Katrina and him were seen entangled, but sure funnily, through his Instagram posts. One of his Instagram videos even had him bring pseudo witnesses in front of the camera, explaining that Katrina used to have a secret relationship with Manvinder.

Manvinder’s second Instagram account goes by the user name @kingbollywoodceo. The account has about 500 followers, and in it as well, he posts absurd edits with Katrina and other Bollywood actresses. Examining his appearance in the pictures and videos he posts, Manvinder must be in his late twenties or early thirties.

Manvinder’s alternative name could be Aditya Rajput, given his Instagram username. He must belong to a Hindu family, examining his family name.
