Police used helicopters, drones, K9s, and foot teams to search Longcope for Marohn. On the weekend of April 2-3, 2022, her brother, Peter Naple, organized volunteer search teams to seek her.
The next Monday, April 4, police conducted another search. The search has since been relocated to a private property near Longcope Park.
In the case of Meghan Marohn’s disappearance, police have said that there is no threat to the public.

She was also an Adjunct Professor of English Education at Fairleigh Dickinson University from 2013 until June 2017.
Marohn moved to Troy, New York in 2017 after leaving New Jersey, where she worked as a mentor with The Sanctuary for Independent Media.
