According to Vanity Fair, Fred Armisen and Natasha Lyonne first met at Netflix’s post-Emmys party at the Chateau Marmont in 2014. Natasha revealed to Glamour in 2019 that they met through mutual friend Maya Rudolph while she was going through a rocky moment.

Due to her addiction to heroin, she suffered from major health problems while she was homeless in 2005. Natasha had Hepatitis C, a heart infection, and a collapsed lung.
When Natasha was admitted to the hospital in 2005, she attempted to get methadone treatment but was turned down. Natasha spent five months in intensive care at Beth Israel Hospital in New York City in 2005.
Needlessly, the actress suffered a lot of medical consequences from her drug addiction. When she overcame her heroin addiction, she still needed open-heart surgery to repair the damage the drugs had caused to her heart and body. Surgeons saved her life by cutting her sternum open.
