Nordin Amrabat wife Nawal Amrabat is a fashion designer with her works displayed in exhibitions in the Netherlands.

The Morocco football legend has tried to keep his personal life under wraps. Though he is available on social media sites Instagram and Twitter with the usernames @n_amrabat_official and @NAmrabat53 respectively, his content is only that of his first love, football.

Nawal Amrabat is a devout Muslim and has a diploma in fashion. The better half of the Morroco player, like him, was born and raised in the Netherlands and had once made an appearance in a Turkish TV program in 2013.

Her video was later redacted as many have made assumptions that Nordin wasn’t happy with his partner being in the public limelight. The couple is parents to two kids Loay and Dean. 

In 2015, a photo of the couple had gone viral as they enjoyed their time on a holiday trip. In the picture, Nawal can be seen wearing her hijab as she rests her face on her partner’s shoulder.

Earlier this year, speaking to the Dutch news channel, Nordin had expressed his desire to play in the Eredivisie as he said he wanted to return to his children and show the Dutch League he still has got it as he believes they have forgotten him.

Nordin Amrabat father Mohammed Amrabat and his mother raised their two sons in the Netherlands and are originally from Morocco.

Mohammed Amrabat, the father of Nordin was pictured sitting beside his older son in 2016 as he watched his younger son Sofyan play in the Europa League play-off.

In 2016, after Nordin signed with the Premiere League team Watford, he shared information about his father and his upbringing. As a kid, Nordin was diagnosed with Osgood Schlatter’s disease, which almost made him quit football. He was even evicted from Ajax Academy after the diagnosis of the disease. 

But Mohammed always inspired his son to continue playing the game and said one day he could make a name for himself in the sports if he truly worked hard. And that is what exactly happened.

Nordin went on to play the game for various football clubs and also had the opportunity to represent their nation Morroco. The footballer’s mother remains away from the spotlight and has never appeared in the media.

But last night, after Morroco defeated Portugal and became the first African nation to qualify for the semi-final round, Nordin shared the information in the post-match interview that he did with his brother that their parents were emotional and crying after Morroco qualified for the next stage. 

Nordin Amrabat has two siblings including one sister and one brother who has followed in his footsteps.

Nordin’s sister has never made a public appearance, but in one of his tweets in 2012, the former Morroco international player wrote a heated tweet against a Twitter user not to talk to his sister.

Sofyan Amrabat Is One Of Two Famous Footballing Brothers

Sofyan Amrabat, 26, is the famous younger sibling of Nordin Amrabat, who is currently lighting the World Cup 2022 stage on fire. Nordin is nine years older than his younger brother, Sofyan.

The two followed the same route as they both represented the Netherlands at their youth level before choosing to represent Morroco. In 2016, during a friendly international, Sofyan was used as a substitute for his brothers as Morroco defeated their opponents 6-0.

The elder brother Nordin has always supported his brother and shared a photo of his younger brother, Sofyan winning the best player of the month title on his Instagram handle. 

And after his country achieved the historic feat, Nordin kissed his brother on his head as he couldn’t hold back his tears. With Sofyan drawing interest from famous European clubs, Nordin wants his younger brother to choose the French team PSG and play alongside French international Kylian Mbappe and Brazillian forward Neymar Jr.
