Who Are Pedro Pineda, Rosa Mirian, And Victor Gomez? Victims Identified In A Indiana Mall Shooting

The three names mentioned above are the victims of the Indiana Mass Shooting. Pedro Pineda is the 56-year-old man from Indianapolis, recognized as the husband of Rosa Mirian Rivera de Pineda. The next victim is Rosa Mirian Rivera de Pineda, 37-year-old Indianapolis resident and wife of Pedro Pineda. Victor Gomez, the 30-year-old Indianapolis resident, was the third person to lose his life.

A shooter opened fire as the clock approached closing time at Greenwood Park Mall. The firing occurred in the food court near the mall’s closing time of 6 p.m.; the first emergency calls were received at late 6:05 p.m. Including the shooter, four people were confirmed dead on Sunday night.

According to Greenwood Police Chief Jim Ison, there were five victims, among which three people were killed and two injured. He reported from the mall’s parking lot that two other injured people were being treated at an Indianapolis hospital.

Among the survivors, a juvenile girl sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital separately. She was the youngest victim of this incident and returned home with her parents after the incident and informed them of a “scratch” on her back. And from the scene, a second person was taken to the hospital.

As soon as the news traveled, everyone on the Internet expressed their heartfelt condolence to the family of the dead. The netizens felt extremely sorry for the husband and wife, who died together.

Jonathan Douglas Sapirman, aged 20, from Greenwood, was identified as the suspected shooter. According to the Johnson County Coroner, two people died at the scene, including the suspected shooter. Two others- a male and a female were pronounced dead at Franciscan Health Indianapolis and Eskenazi Hospital.
