Prophet Odumeje, the general overseer of The Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, was seen to be detained by the police authorities as he was obstructing the demolition of his church in Onitsha, Nigeria.
He is a controversial man who is known for his unusual actions. He considers himself a Man Of God, but many people doubt his claims saying he could be just another religious comedian instead of a Man Of God.

A viral video clip from Twitter suggested that the police authorities were misbehaving with him as he tried to stop the demolish the church, which Odumeje himself operates.

Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance Ministry Onitsha was a famous church that is known for having an energetic environment and a spiritual vibe. It was also known as the land of freedom and miracle center. The church’s building was demolished today as it was obstructing the Onitsha Urban Renewal Plan.
Indaboski Assaulted As Church Gets Demolished
Nobody likes to see the destruction of their beloved property in front of their own eyes. Prophet Odumeje was also not an exception as he tried to stop the demolition of his church by obstructing the path of the machines. He was detained by the police officers for his actions and was even physically abused by them.
The church was located at no 88B Bida Road, Fegge, Onitsha, Nigeria. It was marked for demolition in April 2022 as it was in the way of the Onitsha Urban Renewal Plan. According to reports, the church structure was positioned on a sizable canal and obstructed waterways.

This encouraged the government to order its demolition as an illegal structure per the development plan to knock down over 200 structures in Onitsha that obstruct the drainage system that connects the River Niger.
Where Is Odumeje Now?
Odumeje is probably under the custody of Nigerian police as he was detained at the demolition site for disobeying the law. However, there hasn’t been any official news or statement from Nigerian authorities about his arrest.
Odumeje was born on September 9th, and like most of his tribe, he supposedly grew up striving to survive. He spent his early years as a meager leather designer on the streets of bustling Onitsha, Anambra state, before dedicating his life to the church.

He is married to his beautiful wife, Uju Ohaenemere, with whom he has four children, two boys and two girls. They are happy to share their married life.
He was born to Mr. and Mrs. Pius Ohanaemere in Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State in the South East of Nigeria. He is the 3rd child of his parents, who have six children.
