People allege Highland shooting suspect Robert Crimo could be sick from mental illness judging by his past actions.
The United States has witnessed another case of a deadly mass shooting. In the recent incident, 22 years old Robert Crimo reportedly pulled the trigger on July 4 parade held in Highland, Illinois.
Due to the soulless nature of the crime, some are alleging that this is not something a mentally stable person can do. But, others describe him as pure evil, hiding in the facade of mental illness.

Officials have identified the Highland mass shooter as Robert “Bobby” Crimo. The wanted poster entails Robert as a thin white male with brown hair, brown eyes, and several tattoos.
The incident left six people dead and over 20 people injured. And due to the severity, many people are citing this as another case of mental illness.

However, highland shooting suspect Robert Crimo cannot be labeled sick without any medical proof.
A rapper by profession, Crimo reportedly lives with his father in a two-story home. The police later surrounded his house to put him under arrest.
Crimo allegedly shot fires from a rooftop just 14 minutes after the parade began. The police even retrieved a rifle from the scene.
Robert Crimo Mental Health And Illness Update
As suggested by his song, Robert Crimo might have been suffering from mental health illness or issues,.
The primary reason for this claim is Crimo’s cryptic message that he put in his music about a year ago. On June 15, 2021, he released a song titled “Are You Awake,” where the rapper suggested an uncontrollable urge to do bad things.
The music video is also somewhat disturbing. It contains childish drawings of a man pointing a rifle at another person. Similarly, it also features pictures of the late Lee Harvey Oswald (president JFK’s assassinator).
People who stumbled upon the song have connected the dots to call Robert ‘a mentally ill man’. Similarly, even Robert’s father, Bob Crimo, has described him as someone very sick.
However, there have been no official medical examinations to support this claim.

According to a report, mental illness accounts for only 2% of firearm crimes and 4% of violent crimes in the USA. Crimo could be or not be part of this 2%.
