After killing his boyfriend Bernardo Almonte by strangling, Roger was apprehended after confessing to a neighbor. After the killing, he posted on social media, saying, “I do it for love.” I do it out of concern for you. He claimed that the emotions of love and hate are the same.
He made a number of disturbing remarks the day before he killed his lover, including one in which he claimed that Jesus had told him Donald Trump will die.
