Sierra Hibbert, a 24-year-old woman of Warner Robins, got arrested in Byron on Friday after driving recklessly and ramming into a police car while a small child sat in the backseat of her SUV.
Officers were searching for an SUV that was on Highway 42 in Byron traveling the wrong way. Witnesses blocked Sierra’s car in at the intersection of highways 42 and 49. Police said they made an effort to speak with the driver, but she remained uncooperative.
To deflate her tires if she drove away, they put stop sticks under her tires. According to the press release, the driver first backed into a vehicle behind her before accelerating and striking a Byron Police vehicle.
Before continuing north on Highway 49 with a flat tire, the woman allegedly hit two witnesses and a police car. She was able to proceed down Highway 49 before officers were able to block her and take her into custody.

Sierra Hibbert of Warner Robins, GA, was arrested by the Byron police after driving recklessly and striking three Byron police vehicles, an officer, and two witnesses. Sierra’s mugshot has not been released yet.
According to the department, neither the cops nor the witnesses were seriously hurt during the event. Police in Byron hailed the people who assisted them during the traffic stop.
The incident was assisted by the Peach County Sheriff’s Office, which is also in charge of the investigation and Hibbert’s criminal prosecution.

Hibbert has been charged with six counts of aggravated assault, according to Sheriff Terry Deese. Depending on the results of the inquiry, the charges against her could be enhanced to include one count of child endangerment.

Officers caught up with her at the intersection of Highway 49, partially stopping the SUV, and laying a tire-deflating Stop Stick below it. She was being “uncooperative” and not responding to them.

The dashcam video which recorded the bizarre incident has circulated on Twitter. Hibbert initially resisted getting out of the car, according to bodycam video with audio, before irrationally saying “I didn’t do anything.”
She repeatedly says, “I didn’t do anything,” and asserts, “I did not do whatever you guys are talking about,” as police and others tell her that she nearly killed people and damaged police vehicles.
Silent dashcam video captures the moment Hibbert slams the SUV into reverse on July 15, strikes a car behind her, and then proceeds to drive forward, striking two witnesses, one of whom is seen being knocked to the ground in the path of the moving vehicle.
