How Many In Spartanburg Recently Arrested? Suspect And Wanted List Of The Case, Available Mugshots

Following a narcotics raid in Spartanburg County, 17 persons were detained, and 22 more were on the wanted list.

During a year-long inquiry, the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office tracked down 39 individuals dealing in fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, and heroin.

“Oftentimes, if you’re just a little persistent, you can get three to four more people with that when we only get one person,” said Sheriff Wright.

Seventeen people were arrested recently in Spartanburg for various reasons, while still, some people are on the loose, and Spartanburg’s police are searching for them.

Although they have little control over how long people are detained, according to Sheriff Wright, those who have been arrested are currently off the streets.

“I always overhear people discussing how swiftly they enter and exit jail; you know, that’s not our doing. Sheriff Wright stated, “Our responsibility is to lock them up, conduct the investigation, and pay attention to our complaints.

According to Sheriff Wright, the bulk of suspects are sought for methamphetamine. But, he stated, “We’re going to have to do a much better work of, um, we just have done better as a neighborhood and a society.”

Spartanburg Suspect And Wanted List

The following 17 suspects of the offenders were detained and charged, based on the sheriff’s office:

Drug trafficking charges were brought against Dwayne Atchison. Gerald Day was accused of having methamphetamine with the intent to distribute it. Additionally, Khamphong Keomanee was accused of smuggling meth between 28 and 100 grams within half a mile of a park.

Charges against Katherine Massey include possession to distribute meth, heroin, a schedule II narcotic, and possession with the intent to distribute within a half-mile of a park. Additionally, charges for selling crack were brought against Willie Mullins.

Terry Shippy was accused of having meth in his possession. Meth distribution was alleged against Michael Collins. Christopher Junkins was accused of supplying marijuana, replica controlled substances, and marijuana within half a mile of a school.

Sierra Obryant was accused of having meth, fentanyl, and heroin in her possession. Additionally, Catherine Turner was accused of having meth and a Schedule II drug in her possession.

Glenn Fields was accused of having marijuana in his possession with the intent to sell it. The charge against Luciano Gonzalez was meth distribution. Sam Pearson was accused of selling methweighing 10-28 grams.

Meth trafficking was alleged against Michael Donald. Possession of amphetamine was alleged against Ronald Brewer. The charge against Edward Hudson was meth possession with the intent to distribute.

James Moates Jr. was accused of unlawfully possessing a handgun, possessing a controlled IV substance, and having meth in his possession with the intent to distribute it.

Still, some people named Miguel Booker, Travis Cox, Anthony Edwards, Autumn Gossett, Shirley Hart, Jaylan Jeter, Neiesha Otero-Diaz, Morgane Simard, Alvin Tiswell, Jessica Torres-Deseano, Michael Williams, Christian Abrams, Isaiah Hill, Michael Motts, Ashley Rowell, Willie Smith, Elizabeth Walker, Deshawn Wright, Warnille Barnett, Jeffery Jefferson, Paige Krass, and Jamarcus Simuel are on the loose. 

Why Did They Get Arrested?

They are arrested because they were found selling drugs in the community. Sheriff Wright wants people to have a safe, drug-free vacation as summer approaches.

Sheriff Wright stated, “They’re at-large, and I don’t know whether anyone is actually running from us, they, we just can’t seem to find them because you often have 10 or 12 places you can be when you’re dealing narcotics,” he added.

Deputies are vigorously seeking after the sought-for suspects. “With them, we’re barely touching the surface. But, he said, there are still a lot more, and we’ll strive to obtain them.
