Rishi Sunak quits being the Chancellor of the Exchequer effective immediately on Tuesday. 

“The public rightly expect government to be conducted properly, competently, and seriously,” The former finance minister said, “I recognise this may be my last ministerial job, but I believe these standards are worth fighting for and that is why I am resigning.”

It is common knowledge that the prime minister is not among the favorites of politicians in the country. As mentioned in his letter, Mr. Sunak has clearly mentioned that he couldn’t work under Mr. Johnson after all he did. 

However. experts on social media give different opinions. Many people think that it was the last option for Mr. Sunak to resign and come out on the right side of things when the situation dissolves.
