The Court of Appeal heard arguments from Robyn Lindholm, 49, who was contesting her murder conviction for George Templeton’s death at the hands of her lover Wayne Amey, whom she later killed.

Lindholm was sentenced to 28 years in jail for the death of Mr. Templeton, part of which had to be served simultaneously with a 25-year term for the murder of Mr. Amey.

However, today’s ruling by Justices Terry Forrest, Emilios Kyrou, and Phillip Priest invalidated Lindholm’s legal strategy, forcing her to carry out the original sentences she was given.

The jury heard at Lindholm’s murder trial this year that Mr. Templeton passed away after being fed a “hearty” steak and pepper sauce lunch and shots of Greek brandy and that she had visited a friend after dinner to provide herself an alibi while Amey carried out her orders.

A week later, police held a televised press conference to ask for help finding the missing guy. Lindholm smiled and appeared at ease, but as the cameras started rolling, she transformed into “the sad girlfriend.”

Robyn admitted to killing Wayne in 2015. Following this, the authorities started to believe she was responsible for the death of another ex-boyfriend, George Teazis, who would subsequently go by the name George Templeton. He had previously belonged to a gang and served time for drug-related offenses.

George was released from prison in May 2005. He had been drinking extensively with Robyn and a friend on the second of the same month. Robyn went with the friend around midnight, but when she returned later, she discovered that George had vanished and that the front door was still open.

A vicious beating, four stab wounds, and strangulation were all used to kill Wayne, a personal trainer. Before being put in a car and dumped where he was later discovered, he was initially attacked while in his garage. Torsten Trabert and John Ryan were found to be the murderers, the authorities discovered. The plot, however, was more complex than it first looked.
