Lawyer Rose Beatrix "Trixie" Cruz-Angeles has already accepted the offer to lead the Presidential Communications Operations Office under the current administration.

Angeles is well-versed in PCOO matters. From July 2017 to 2018, she worked as the agency's "social media strategist" under President Rodrigo Duterte's administration.

During the 2016 elections, she was one of the social media personalities who helped promote Duterte's campaign.

However, it appears that not everyone is pleased with the nomination, as Twitter is full of references to her previous suspension and mistakes.


Trixie Cruz-Angeles Wikipedia - Where Is She From?  

Military lawyer Trixie Cruz-Angeles is from the Philippines and is not listed on Wikipedia despite being appointed press secretary during President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s administration.

Former Marine Captain Nicanor Faeldon, an Oakwood mutineer, was represented by Angeles. She was also a member of Chief Justice Renato Corona's legal team during his impeachment trial in 2012.

The Supreme Court (SC) suspended Trixie Cruz-Angeles for three years in August 2016 due to a complaint filed against her in 2003. Allegedly, a client had paid Angeles and another lawyer P350,000 to help him annul his marriage, but the lawyers failed to deliver.
