Yes, Vesna Medenica, a former president of the Supreme Court, was arrested for abuse late at night at the Golubovci Airport, according to Anadolu Agency (AA).
Medenica was held, according to Montenegrin media, based on a well-founded suspicion that she engaged in two criminal acts: one- the formation of a criminal organization and two- illegal influence.
She was arrested when the media revealed transcripts of her son’s encrypted chats in which he stated that she would defend his illicit cocaine and contraband cigarettes dealings.
Medenica was detained at Podgorica airport while trying to take a trip to Serbia. She was formerly the country’s most influential judge.
