Tony is the current EFL team Blackburn Rovers manager and a former English professional footballer. He began his playing career in 1982, and in 1986 he was named Middlesbrough’s captain. After that, he briefly served as Celtic’s representative.
Later, he relocated to Ipswich Town, where he played for five years and rose to the position of club captain. Ipswich ended up winning the game 4-2 and earning promotion to the FA Premier League at this time. He terminated his playing career after it and began coaching.

He was hired as Hibernian’s manager in May 2004, and during his first season, he was named Scottish Football Writers Association manager of the year.
Then, in 2006, Tony moved on to West Bromwich Albion, where he won the Football League Championship in 2008 but was relegated from the Premier League the following year.
The Celtic club hired Mowbray as manager, but he was fired after only nine months. He then accepted the manager position at Middlesbrough, one of his former teams. However, after a shaky beginning, he quit the club.
Duncan Ferguson Personal Life Was A Roller Coaster
Two burglars entered Ferguson’s home in Rufford, Lancashire, in 2001. Ferguson challenged them and was able to arrest one of them; as a result, he was hospitalized for three days. The second man was able to escape but was ultimately apprehended. For their deeds, both guys received a 15-month prison term.
Ferguson apprehended another burglar in 2003 at his Formby, Merseyside, house. The burglar struck Ferguson, who then reacted. The burglar was taken to the hospital and claimed Ferguson had assaulted him, but police denied this.

Ferguson has received four convictions for assault, including two for headbutting Raith Rovers on the field and one for a fight with a fisherman at a pub in Anstruther.
While the second incident resulted in a £200 fine for striking and kicking a fan using crutches, the first incident resulted in a £100 penalty for headbutting a police officer and a £25 penalty for a Breach of the Peace. For the third offense, he received a probationary period of one year.
He was sentenced to and served a three-month jail term for assault for the 1994 on-field headbutt. Osmo Tapio Räihälä, a Finnish composer, was inspired to create the symphonic poem Barlinnie Nine as a “musical portrait” of Ferguson as a result of Ferguson’s legal issues and incarceration.
