His father, Fred Warmbier, revealed that somebody had used a pair of pliers to rearrange a couple of Otto’s bottom teeth. Fred was the one who made the startling discovery.

Even though the autopsy results indicated that everything about him was in good health, Otto had scars around the mouth. His dentist disclosed that he had some impact on his teeth. This was despite everything else about him being in good condition. Apart from his teeth, every aspect of his physical appearance was in fine shape.

Warmbier was arrested in North Korea on December 29, 2015, while traveling the nation as part of a guided tour group with ten other American citizens.

Otto Warmbier’s life was turned upside down when he was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment in North Korea with hard labor. The sentencing came in when Warmbier was attending college and looking forward to studying in Hong Kong in early 2016.

When Otto was set to depart from Pyongyang International Airport, two guards pulled him away. Danny Gratton, a member of Warmbier’s tour group from the United Kingdom, was present to watch the arrest.
Otto was taken away. Danny’s only comment was, “Well, that’s the last time we’ll see of you.” In addition, Danny also confessed that the victim did not put up any fight. Otto did not look worried and even grinned half-heartedly while followed by the security men. Danny also stated that the victim did not appear to be afraid.

How Did Otto Warmbier Die?
Warmbier passed away on June 19, 2017, at 2:20 p.m. in the hospital, at the young age of 22.
Otto was in a prolonged vegetative condition; deepest sympathies were sent out to the relatives of the dead and the departed themselves by people across social media.
Warmbier, who had passed away, could breathe and blink his eyes, but he did not show any awareness of his surroundings. For example, he did not grasp words or make motions with a purpose.
